Organization 360 assessment platform
Make free use of Organization 360 assessment platform!
The Organization 360 assessment platform enables an organization's leaders to survey its constituents (staff, board, partners, etc) on matters like organizational development, quality of leadership, level of resilience, and then build a summary report.

The platform is free for members of the Nonprofit Builder: foundations, grantees, consultants, nonprofits.
Advantages:
Attractive live report with charts and color codes
Confidentiality guaranteed to respondents to encourage frank replies
Convenient owner's dashboard to launch and manage your surveys
Unlike Survey Monkey, there are no expensive monthly fees to pay!
We currently offer two assessments: the Organizational Mapping Tool (OMT) for organizational assessment, and Nonprofit Leader 360, a leadership assessment tool authored by Marshall Goldsmith.
We plan to add more tools in the future: the Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) used by USAID, and a tool to measure organisational resilience we will call Hard Questions. Participating foundations and consultants may also add their own assessment tools to the platfom - please reach out to discuss if there is one you use reguarly.
Nonprofit Leader 360 (for leadership assessment)
This leadership 360 survey was authored by Marshal Goldsmith, who is perhaps one of the most famous exective coaches, and author of the bestseller "What Got You Here Won't Get You There""What Got You Here Won't Get You There". Marshall's leadership 360 is uniquely suited to nonprofits because it includes aspects appreciating diversity and demonstrating integrity. It measures all aspects of leadership from managing people to managing change to managing technology. The questions are simple and to the point.

We recommend to use an executive coach to interpret the feedback, and to help the leader on his or her path to change.
Organization Mapping Tool (for organizational assessment)
The Organizational Mapping Tool (OMT) is an organizational assessment tool that is designed to help nonprofits identify and prioritize their organizational strengthening needs. We like it because its open source and used by major foundations.
Free access code: canda2019ot
Use the report to support deep discussions on priorities and plans for developing your organization. These will be incredibly enriching. The process works best with an external facilitator to ensure all voices are heard.
How it works:
1. Launching the survey
Fill in the launch form: https://organization360.org/nonprofit-leader/create
Set the due date.
Add your respondents: email, first name, role
At the bottom, enter the access code canda2019ot
Launch the survey
2. Managing the survey
Once you launch the survey, you will be taken to your dashboard and logged in, see image below, where you can:
See who replied and send reminders to tardy respondents (either to all at once or to individual respondents)
Add a respondent (if you forgot someone).
Open your report (this only works after 3 responses have been submitted so as to protect the anonymity of respondents!)
Lock or unlock the report (you need to unlock the report before you can share the link with someone like your coach, otherwise its locked and they can't open it)
Download the report as a PDF.
If you need to log in again you can simply use the password recovery form: https://organization360.org/login
You will also get notifications:
You'll get an email with your account information and also a link to fill in the 360 survey (you also need to fill it in!!!)
Your respondents will get an email invitation to fill in the report, then an email each time you remind them, and another one to thank them once they filled it in.
3. Using the report
When you open your report, what can you do?
You can compare your reply to the survey with that of your respondents (side-by-side columns).
You can filter the responses by role: board, senior management, etc
Don't forget to read the suggestions at the very bottom!
That's it! Let us know if you have any questions.
