Whistleblowing Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Whistleblowing Policy is designed to support and encourage consultants and employees to report any instances of observed illegal, unethical, or inappropriate behaviors and practices related to our platform without fear of retaliation. It applies to all consultants, grantees, employees, and contractors associated with the Nonprofit Builder Platform.

2. Reporting Procedures

All consultants, grantees and employees are encouraged to voice concerns about any aspect of the platform’s operations that appears unethical, illegal, or inappropriate. Reports can be made to the CEO using this form. If you wish to remain anonymous, simply don't put your name or email in the form, these are not compulsory fields.

All reports will be treated confidentially to the extent allowed by law.

3. Protection for Whistleblowers

Nonprofit Builder is committed to ensuring that no individual suffers any adverse consequence as a result of reporting a concern in good faith. This includes protection from retaliation, harassment, or victimization. Any act of retaliation against a whistleblower will lead to disciplinary action, which may include termination of consultancy or employment.

4. Investigation Process

Upon receipt of a complaint, the Compliance Officer or designated committee will review and investigate the concern within a reasonable timeframe, maintaining confidentiality throughout the investigative process. The scope of the investigation will depend on the nature of the allegations, and a detailed report will be compiled at the conclusion of the investigation to determine appropriate actions.

5. Resolution and Feedback

Once an investigation is completed, the whistleblower will be informed of the outcome and any actions taken, subject to privacy and legal constraints. Nonprofit Builder commits to resolving issues effectively and ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to correct any wrongdoing.

6. Policy Review and Training

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Regular training will be provided to all consultants and employees to foster a thorough understanding of their rights and responsibilities under this policy.

Nonprofit Builder is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability. This whistleblowing policy is essential for maintaining a transparent, ethical work environment where all individuals feel valued and safe.
