Hilda Hakiza Kamugisha

I am a chartered accountant and experienced financial management consultant & trainer with over 15 years experience. I have provided extensive capacity building support and training services to a diverse array of organizations. My expertise has been instrumental in aiding both donors and implementing partners within the development and humanitarian sectors, working closely with local and international NGOs, civil society and community-based organizations, as well as private foundations, among others. My passion is to help them thrive and grow in areas such as Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Accounting Records, Cash Flow Management, Systems Review, Risk Management, External Audit support function, Organisational Assessments (finance health-checks), Capacity Building & Mentoring, Administration & Organisational skills.

As a freelance and independent finance professional, I hold memberships with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (CPA), and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). My advisory role extends to both finance and non-finance personnel, encompassing project staff, management teams, and board members. In my capacity as a certified financial management trainer, I have successfully conducted over 80 training courses, using the MANGO methodology.

My unique blend of leadership and management acumen, coupled with extensive training and hands-on experience in accountancy, has enabled me to make a significant impact by strengthening organizations' financial management capabilities and fostering a culture of accountability.

My work has involved working with several organizations in, Bermuda, United Kingdom, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, Liberia, Ghana, Malawi, Sierra leone, Zambia, Nigeria and South Sudan amongst others.
