Andrea Sczigel

As a fundraiser and communication specialist I have worked for Hungarian Food Bank for 7 years. I was responsible for corporate fundraising, microdonors programs, different fundraising projects, also for branding of the association, fundraising and overall brand communication and volunteer program management as well. I have long term experience in building CRM system for microdonor programs. 

Prior to the non-profit sector, I worked in the for-profit sector, mainly with companies to support their CSR activities, and as a communications consultant to support branding processes. At the beginning of my career, I was client service director at a communications agency, overseeing communications campaigns. 

Recently I am working as a freelance consultant, I am supporting different nonprofits in Hungary in capacity building projects: 

• Freelance consultant for fundraising and communication
• I also lead a communication and fundraising consultancy service company where we support NGOs in their fundraising activities - build donor journeys, create payment paltforms, segment their database, manage fundraising campaigns
• Consultant at NIOK Foundation, where I am responsible for Hungary's biggest crowdfunding platform, I am providing campaign consultancy also conducting fundraising and communication webinars and workshops
• Consultant at Reflexive Communications providing fundraising and CRM consultancy for nonprofits

I also collaborate on international consultancy projects, supporting organizations in capacity building. I have worked with organizations such as the International Red Cross, Bethesda Children’s Hospital, Menedék Association, and numerous others active in environmental protection and various fields.
