I am a communication consultant with nearly two decades of experience building communication systems for for-profit and non-profit organisations. My experience in communications ranges from advertising, public relations, journalism, digital communication and advertising, communication strategy and communication training for organisations.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Communication is not a series of actions; it's a strategic function for organisations. You don't do communications; you live it.
Every single form of communication an organisation expresses is targeted, well thought out and driven to impact the community an organisation serves and grow the organisation's bottom line through fundraising or revenue targets.
I train individuals and organisations to employ what I call Communication for Impact. Communication for Impact draws organisations to employ communications as a strategic function of their operations and not simply as a series of tasks such as updating a website, scheduling social media posts etc.
HOW I WORK
I believe communication is an organisation's role, not just the communications team's. With all the key training I do for organisations on communications, I always encourage senior management to attend together with the communication teams to ensure a collective understanding of the strategic role of communications.
