What is Jumpstart?
An online incubator for early-stage nonprofit startups. Jumpstart is for you if you are:
An aspiring founder team at the conceptual stage, you have developed an idea that has garneres interest from a first founder, however, you are not formally incorporated and need to build structure to be able to accept a grant.
A newly-established nonprofits, you have recently incorporated and secured your first grant , but you are operating with minimal strategy with only the founding team as staff.
A slightly more advanced organization that ,while established, still requires significant development in areas such as strategy formulation, communications and stakeholder management, hiring and team development, financial planning, organizational processes and systems and fundraising strategies.
What support can I expect from Jumpstart?
It is designed to facilitate the growth and success of early-stage startups like your by providing you with:
A startup coach,who will advise your founding team on most leadership and organizational aspects through weekly coaching hours and on-a-needs based advice.
A startup grant, if needed, to cover costs of incorporation fees and legal advice and an outsourced bookkeeper for 1hr/week for the first six months of operations(the duration of the program)
Access to the regular training program on topics such as Strategy Development, Financial Management and Communications.
Access to a support library of essential readings and resources.
What are Jumpstart coaches?

Governance and Leadership - coaching for the founder team.
Business and Strategic Planning - strategy, vision,mission and business plan.
Financial Management - forecasting, cash flow management, checks and balances.
Presentation - Pitch deck preparation and Core messaging.
Organizational structure - define team roles, optimize stucture, processes and systems.
Donor Mapping - buiding relationships with funders and other stakeholders.
Recruitment and staff development - hiring process, contracts, legal obligations.
Tailored topics based on the needs of your startup.

Complete the Jumpstart self assessment worksheet - you can use this to brief your coach, and it will serve as your logbook to building a successful organization!
Choose a Capacity Coach from this list and reach out to them for a matching call - your selected coach will then get the support approved.
We will notify you when its all approved and you kick-off your Jumpstart journey !!!
