Working as a consultant with NPB has created opportunities to work with sectors and specialists that I might not otherwise have connected with. This has been stimulating and enhanced my practice, and, I hope, contributed to the organisational development of the grantees.
The NPB team members are exceptionally responsive and helpful, and NPB has also created opportunities for consultant learning, drawing on its experts to offer free online seminars on a wide range of topics.

I’ve been part of the Nonprofit Builder community since 2022 and through it I’ve had the chance to work with a wide range of local and international grantees — whether it’s a project in Ukraine, Hungary, or Africa. As an independent consultant, I find working with NGOs through Nonprofitbuilder straightforward: you receive a request, submit a proposal, deliver, and then file a short report and issue an invoice — Nonprofitbuilder handles the rest. NGOs often prioritise privacy by design and by default rather than relying on lengthy policies and consent banners. This shared focus makes the work genuinely enjoyable for me as a GDPR specialist and privacy advocate

Being part of the Non-Profit Builder (NPB) network has allowed me to engage with smaller organizations that may have limited resources or experience with safeguarding. It has given me the opportunity to view safeguarding from a fresh perspective and to create approaches that are both practical and rooted in values-driven practice. Through this work, I have partnered with non-profits to translate their values into bespoke policies that honor their mission and strengthen practices to ensure children, adults, and communities are safe and can thrive. Additionally, collaborating with foundations that prioritize safeguarding and actively support their grantees brings added depth, meaning, and intentionality to this work.

I'm so grateful for NonProfit Builder because they provide an easy platform to connect important nonprofit organizational needs with the consultants who can provide that support.
