The "Managing uncertainty" training was a comprehensive introduction to developing scenarios in order to produce meaningful medium and long term plans. The practical approach, by developing scenarios for a concrete case from the first to the very last steps throughout the five sessions, allowed me to absorb the theoretical material easily.

The course was an eye-opener in how scenario analysis can be a powerful tool for strategic planning. I learned how to not just map out different futures, but also assess the urgency and impact of various actions under each scenario. One of the most valuable takeaways was realizing that even in challenging or uncertain futures, there are always pathways to act. I plan to apply these tools directly to the strategic planning process for the program I lead, and it has already sparked new ways of thinking about what's possible. Diana, our facilitator, brought outstanding energy and clarity to the sessions, making the experience engaging and insightful.

Through this course, I have received actual tools that are simple to implement which I can see will raise our productivity and strengthen our organisation. It is a refreshing change from other courses which seem to be heavy on theory but unable to address real life challenges.

The issues discussed in this course are highly relevant with my working condition and problems. Prior to joining this course, I only use common logic and simple self-made tools to manage my projects. After joining this course, I realize that there are tools available to assist in managing organization and projects and there are bigger issues that our organization needs to take more seriously.
