I really enjoy the opportunity to meet and learn about the efforts of organizations throughout the world whose work might not otherwise come across my radar. As an independent consultant based in SE Asia, I enjoy working with the NPB network as the website has brought me into contact with a wide range of organisations in sectors that I would not be able to easily access. Direct contact means we can work together to be clear on needs, timelines and accountabilities within the NPB framework and I have learned a lot and experienced professional satisfaction at being able to provide useful, tailored assistance to meet specific organizational needs.

Through this consultancy, we have been able to make strong headway into developing our fundraising strategy, an invaluable organizational piece that will allow our non-profit organization to explore potential funders to support our work. The fundraising strategy includes a list of potential funders, sourced and vetted by Bridgit, as well as documentation to boost our funding applications including a deck that describes “why us?”. The idea behind the strategy is to allow us to acquire core funding so we can continue to do our important work. Without Bridget’s consultancy, we would still be in square one.

I really enjoy working through the NPB network to support organisations and companies in strengthening their safeguarding policies and practices. What makes it especially rewarding is the network’s diversity — it brings together members from a wide range of sectors, which helps me and other safeguarding advocates build broader awareness around the importance of safeguarding. I also really value how practical and effective the platform is in matching needs with support and making it easy for members and consultants to connect.
